Influence of rice husk ash substitution on some physical, mechanical and durability properties of the metakaolin-based geopolymer mortar

In this study, it is aimed to investigate the influence of rice husk ash, which a waste by-product industrial production, on ultrasonic pulse velocity, compressive strength, flexural strength and high temperature endurance metakaolin-based geopolymer mortar. For this, sand was substituted by ash (RHA) at rate 25%, 50% 75% wt. in production A total 4 series mortars (reference three with RHA substitution) were produced. geopolymer, other words, binder mortar produced metakaolin ground granulated blast furnace slag reacting mixture sodium hydroxide (12M NaOH) silicate (Na2SiO3) solutions.
